Samantha Harriott

When I first moved to Laramie in 2019 I was so inspired by people already living here. I remember thinking "people in Laramie, Love Laramie!"  I saw how volunteering created community and helped people stay in Laramie and build connections.  Having a stable social and support network creates a safe and thriving community.  I started Stork Support as a way to help new moms and families have a stable social and support network and continue to raise their families in Laramie.

Stork Support is my passion.  Giving every child/baby an ethical start to life with the basic necessities sets these individuals on a path of health and hopefully success.  Empowering the families fosters stronger bonds and keeps families united.  I am humbled every day to help people in Laramie and empower them to become part of our community. I believe that volunteering in Stork Support helps families put down roots in Laramie and helps decrease transitory living.  A stable community is safer and more engaged.  This is the community I want to be a part of.
